פותח עבור אזרחים באיזורי סיכון או עבור אנשי ביטחון שלא רוצים למשוך תשומת לב, זהו תיק גב לכל דבר (ספרים, מחשב נייד וכו') שהופך תוך כ2 שניות לאפוד עם מיגון רך ברמה IIIA נגד כדורי אקדח, כדוריות ציד ורסיסים. ניתן לשדרג את ההגנה על ידי הוספת פלטות מיגון קשיחות (לא כלול במוצר).
בחלקו הקדמי של האפוד, ישנן רצועות MOLLE המאפשרות חיבור של נרתיקי מחסניות נוספים, פנס, ואפילו נרתיק עם אקדח בתוכו. כל אלו הופכים להיות זמינים ללובש ברגע שפתח את האפוד מתוך התיק.
אפוד עצמו מוסתר לחלוטין בתא נפרד כך שפתיחת התיק להוציא ולהכניס חפצים לתא האיחסון לא תסגיר את הייעוד שלו.

The Masada serves also as a regular backpack to carry books, a laptop, and other everyday carry items. The vest is concealed in a separate compartment of the backpack giving the wearer 100% concealment even when accessing the standard compartment of the bag.
